1. PRACTITIONER: How does the new search feature in the electronic prescription entry work?
We have build in the electronic recepy system an advanced search engine. there is only one form where you can choose to order for your own practice or delivering directly to the patient. All the data are listed on a comprehensive way. So you can overview the whole recepy at once. The great advantga is that you can see alle the authorised remedies from the company VSM together with all the not-authorised remedies. If your patient has the possibility for reimbursment of the remedies this is very convenient.
Via the search function you choose first the name of the remedy and after clicking you see all the possible potencies that can be delivered within 24-72 hours. Also the price is visible and the quantity of granules or globules. We have already more then 3400 remedies availabl and form each remedy about 16 potencies. This means in total 50.000 possibilities. You can also choose normally 5 or more different packaging possibilities. In conclusion we have more then 250.000 combinations. Therefore we made this system on this way. It will at the end save a lot of time borth for you and us. And we dont need to rise or prices.
If you ask for specila preparations you also can use this electronic system. But then the preparation time and the costs are not know, and we need to contact you.

2. PRACTITIONER: How do I create an an account?
Follow the steps below so you can use a save connection to place your orders and you don't need to send the original prescriptions to us:
- Go to www.hahnemann.nl.
- Click on the button "practitioners" on the top of the website (brown line).
- Click on the blue text: "new account"
- Fill in the form as complete as possible. The password must contain one number. If you dont have a AGB code, keep this field empty.
- Click on the button: "submit".
- After submitting your data you will receive an e-mai. Confirm this mail by clicking on the link.
- Go again to www.hahnemann.nl and click on the button "practitioners" on the top of the site.
- Now you can log in with your mail address and the password you have choosen.
3. PRACTITIONER: Where can I find the VSM products?
Via the search for homeopathy (In the Electronic Order System) you can find not only all our own preparations but also the authorised remedies from the company VSM. Click for instance the remedy Abrotanum then you find the following information:

On this way you have all the information together you need for your prescription. For your knowledge VSM authorised remedies will be reimbursed in The Netherlands, with the proper insurance.
NB The fat and cursiv potencies are in storage and can be delivered immedialtely. For the other potencies it will be within one day available.
4. PRACTITIONER: Where can I enter supplements and energetics?
In the Electronic Order System you find the possibility: search in other.
There you can find all the available foodsupplements and energetica. Start with the name of the producer like: VOGEL, VSM or WELEDA. Then you can type the name of the remedy.
You can also order by our webshop foodsupplements and energetica.
For the patient it is very convenient that you combine the homeopathic remedies with the food supplements on a single recepy.
5. PRACTITIONER: How do I enter a row of potencies, like 30/200/M/10M?
We have made the possibility to order a row of potencies, like 30/200/M/10M. Click in the Electronic Order System the word: REEKS (meaning row of potencies). If the word REEKS is not visible there cannot made a complete row of four potencies.
We have also made the possibility to click another row of potencies: 12/30/200/M. In that case you have to click on the MK potency and the next step is to look for this row under the packaging and click on: REEKS 1g (12/30/200/M).
6. PRACTITIONER: How can I activate auto-completion for my password and other data?
Ga in uw internet browser naar instellingen of het menu EXTRA.
bv Internet Explorer: ga naar Internetopties en vervolgens naar Inhoud
Daar staat het kopje Automatisch aanvullen. Klik op Instellingen en vink zonodig alle opties aan.
Met name de optie Vragen voordat wachtwoorden worden opgeslagen en Gebruikersnamen en wachtwoorden op formulieren.
Klik vervolgens tweemaal op OK en het staat voortaan goed ingesteld.
Het grote voordeel is dat nu ook patient gegevens automatisch worden aangevuld!
7. PRACTITIONER: Unexpected problems!
From time to time it can happen that the electronic recepy (in our Electronic Order System) has unexpected problems. Most of the time this type of problems is caused by updating the website. Your computer works in that case with old data that has been changed. That old data are kept in the so called cache memory. The solution is to clean the browser history.

Please try also CTRL + SHIFT + R (Windows)
or CMD + SHIFT + R (MAC)
If that will nog succeed, for instance with the Internet Explorer browser, try then to delete the Browse history first. Then you can use again these buttons of click on the circle upper left to recovery the site.
8. PATIENT: What do I have to do with a prescription from my doctor/homeopath?
9. PATIENT: What are the shipping costs when I order something?
Postal services
There is a charge for order/administration costs. For domestic parcels the price is € 4,95, if you authorize us direct debits. Without the direct debits authorization the order/administration costs will be € 8,95.
If you want to know the order/administration costs for orders outside the Netherlands you can send an email to expeditie@hahnemann.nl. Prices vary by country and depend on the weight, size and value of the order.
10. PATIENT: Can I order by phone?
No, you cannot order by phone!

11. PATIENT: For which complaint(s) is(are) the prescribed homeopathic remedy(remedies)?
This is not a easy question, because a remedy is seldon prescribed just for one complaint. This specific question you have in the first place to ask to your prescriber.
We have made from more then 600 remedies special information leaflets. But this information is only in Dutch available. See: patient information
We are not allowed, since Octobre 2012, to publish these information on our website.

12. PATIENT: How does a homeopathic remedy work?
13. PATIENT: Can my own pharmacy supply my prescription for a homeopathic remedy?
In most foreign European countries your own pharmacy can deliver very well the remedies that are prescribed for you. In The Netherlands only the authorised homeopathic remedies can be delivered by your pharmacy. We have in The Netherlands authorised remedies from the company VSM and HEEL.
Not every pharmacy knows where to find these authorised remedies and the not authorised remedies. Therefore they will often advise to send the recepy to our pharmacy, because if there is no authorised homeopathic remedy, we can make this by ourselves. In The Netherlands we are the only pharmacy with this possibility.
14. PATIENT: The website is doing strange
