FAQ
1. How can I place an order?
In the Netherlands there are two kinds of (homeopathic) remedies: those with a national registrationnumber and those without. Those that have a registrationnumber can be bought in every pharmacy, health and drug store. The remedies that don’t have such a registrationnumber are a lot more difficult to come by.
Only a pharmacy that makes the remedies them selves and has a prescription for a specific patient from a qualified person (medical doctor, homeopath, Heilpraktiker), can deliver the remedies to clients/patients, practitioners, homeopaths and medical doctors.
We need the following information:

Customers outside the Netherlands will receive an invoice via PayPal. This invoice can be paid via IBAN, credit card or PayPal. Once payment has been received, the order will be dispatched.
Customers with a Dutch bank account can authorise us to collect payments by direct debit. The invoice amount will then be automatically debited from the specified IBAN account after 1-2 weeks. In that case, the customer will also receive a €4.00 discount on the order/shipping costs and will therefore pay €4.95 instead of €8.95.
Customers within the Netherlands who prefer not to authorise direct debit can transfer the amount themselves after receiving the order, using the enclosed invoice. They pay £8.95 order/shipping costs.
3. How long will it take for me to receive my order?
For orders within the Netherlands
The total turnaround time – from prescription request to delivery – is a maximum of 2 weeks.
Average prescription processing timeline:
Practitioner: 1-3 working days to assess your request and forward it to the pharmacy.
Pharmacy: 1-3 working days for preparation and dispatch.
Parcel service: 1-3 working days for delivery.
Waiting longer than 2 weeks? Please contact the pharmacy. Your prescription request may not yet have been assessed by your practitioner or there may be a delay with the parcel service.
For orders outside the Netherlands
When we receive an order or prescription, we will assess whether we can supply the medicines. If so, we will send you an invoice via PayPal. As soon as it has been paid, we will prepare and dispatch the medicines. This part will take 1-3 working days. Delivery times depend on a number of factors:
To which country should the medicines be sent?
How would you like us to send the order? By regular post or by courier?
Does the order fit through the letterbox or is it a parcel?
Is the destination within or outside the European Community?
Are import duties payable?
In our experience, orders within the EU usually arrive within 1 to 2 weeks. For destinations outside the EU, delivery can vary from a few days to a few weeks.
4. Can I also order by telephone?
You cannot order by telephone. The risk of errors is too high. In addition, we require a prescription for many medicines, including homeopathic medicines.
You can submit your prescription or order in various ways:
By email: recept@hahnemann.nl. Send us a scan or a clear photo of the prescription.
