Exchange and return policy Hahnemann Pharmacy bv


It may happen that you want to return an article because you do not need it or do not want to use it. The Civil Code states that if you have ordered something remotely, you have 14 days from the day of receipt to consider the return. Within that time, you can cancel the purchase without giving any reasons. Now it also states that there are a number of exceptions. Two of them apply to medicines, vitamins, food supplements and so on.

  • Products that are not suitable to be returned for health or hygiene reasons.
  • Products that you have specially made.

We only deliver remedies once. When an article has left the pharmacy and is returned, we will not deliver that article again to someone else. After all, we cannot guarantee the quality, even if the seal is still intact. You may think that this is an exaggeration but the temperature in a parked car can rise considerably in summer and thus negatively affect the effectiveness of a remedy. The same could happen if a remedy has been stored in the vicinity of a radiation source. For example, a kitchen cupboard above a microwave oven, oven or stove. In short, we take as little risk as possible with the remedies we deliver to you. You don't want to receive 'second-hand medicins' of which you are not sure that they still do what you bought them for or what your practitioner recommended?

We regularly supply medicines that have been specially made for someone, in response to a prescription. It goes without saying that we cannot take back these kinds of 'custom-made medicines'.

Of course, there may be exceptions. A prescriber may have made a mistake or we may have made an error. Also, a bottle may have broken during transport. In such cases, we will always try to find an appropriate solution. If you think that something like this has happened, you can always contact us. Preferably by e-mail (info@hahnemann.nl) because this gives us time to find out what happened and to assess it carefully.

To avoid disappointment, we advise you to think carefully about the number of packs you order of a particular remedy. It may happen that your doctor writes you a prescription with 4 refills. You can then decide, because of the order/administration costs, to have all packages sent at once, but it can sometimes happen that you are told during a second consultation that you must stop taking the relevant product(s). There is a chance that you will have one or more packages left over. You cannot return these packages to us. Saving a few euros in order/administration costs can then have expensive consequences.
